Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to freedom fighter Khudiram Bose on his martyrdom day.
CM Chouhan paid floral tributes on his portrait in the auditorium at the residence office. Martyr Khudiram Bose was hanged on 11 August 1908 when he was only 19 years old.
He was born on 3 December 1889 in Midnapore district. Khudiram Bose jumped into the freedom movement following the partition of Bengal in the year 1905.
He joined the Revolutionary Party. He played a pivotal role in distributing pamphlets of Vande-Mataram and many revolutionary activities.

Khudiram Bose was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced to death.
