Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the grand building of Madhya Pradesh is being constructed and its foundation stones are the contractual employees. They have worked shoulder to shoulder with the regular employees and in some places even more than them. On many occasions, by risking life, they fulfilled their responsibility and did wonderful work. Even in the era of Covid, the contract employees saved the lives of the citizens, which Madhya Pradesh will never be able to forget. The capabilities, service attitude and efficiency of the contract employees are second to none. Therefore, it is necessary to end the uncertainty of their lives. If Madhya Pradesh is number-one today, then the contractual employees working in the departments have gone ahead and worked for it. They are like right-left hand and heart for Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing a huge convention of contractual employees at Nehru Stadium located at Lal Parade Ground complex today.

Major announcements of Chief Minister ChouhanThe contract process every year for the services of contract employees will end.Contractual employees will be given the benefit of National Pension Scheme within the time limit.Contract employees will be given 100 percent amount in salary/honorarium instead of 90 percent fixed earlier.Contract employees will be given the benefit of health insurance scheme. Necessary calculation work for this will be done soon.Contract employees will also get the benefit of compassionate appointment.Gratuity will be arranged for contract employees on retirement.There will be reservation for contractual employees on 50% posts in recruitment to regular posts in departments.Maternity leave will also be provided to contractual employees along with leave like regular employees.Contract employees will get casual, earned and optional leave like regular employees.The amount of salary deducted for contract employees due to certain reasons will be refunded. No case will continue.

Contract employees will get many benefits like regular employees

In the conference, Chief Minister Chouhan made important announcements in the interest of contract workers. This includes termination of contract of service every year, leave like regular employees, insurance scheme, gratuity on retirement, providing benefits of compassionate appointment and reservation of 50 percent seats for contract workers in recruitment to regular posts. Chief Minister Chouhan said that he is sure that the contract employees will work harder and honestly than before. The contract employees have to do the work of saving the lives of the citizens of the state, giving them the benefits of development, spreading the light of education and brightening their lives. Contract employees will work wholeheartedly for the state, not for themselves. The system of contract every year is not appropriate, so it is being abolished. Many contract employees have been working for 20-25 years. Their life has become difficult, it is necessary to end the cycle of renewal.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the contractual employees have done wonderful work in the development of the state. The Chief Minister started his address by praising the contract employees with the statement – “We are proud of lakhs of contract employees who have strength in their work – who are no less than anyone”. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that seeing the smile on the faces of contract employees, his life have become meaningful. Earlier, there used to be conflict between the government and the employees union. Now the ministers of the government have come to welcome the contract employees.

Madhya Pradesh is moving fast due to efficient discharge of responsibilities of employees

Chief Minister Chouhan said that be it a pharmacist, lab technician, A.N.M. staff nurses or contract employees of the Electricity Department, all those who are working to illuminate Madhya Pradesh, have performed their duties well. The respect of the state has increased. These are all foundation stones. Just like a Kalash is visible in the temple, the dome on which the Kalash rests, rests on the walls. These walls rest on the foundation. Contractual employees have performed their duties well like regular employees. Regular and contractual employees have efficiently discharged their responsibilities in the interest of the state. That’s why Madhya Pradesh is moving forward fast. The state’s growth rate is 16 percent, which is the highest among the states. Madhya Pradesh is far ahead in all areas like per capita income, size of budget, laying of road network, increasing irrigation facilities and starting CM Rise School.

Contract employees took a pledge for the development of the state

After making important announcements for the contract employees, Chief Minister Chouhan also got them resolved to do better work for the development of the state. A large number of contractual employees present took the pledge by raising both hands and clapped and thanked Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for the announcements.

Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chowdhary said in the welcome address that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has created an identity as a mama, now he is creating a new identity of Ladla Bhai. Whether it is Health Department or Public Health Engineering, Panchayat and Rural Development or other departments, contractual employees have rendered important services. In order to provide benefits of poor welfare schemes, citizens were contacted from door-to door for a month and 85 lakh beneficiaries were linked to the schemes. Dr. Chowdhary said that at one point of time, even the employees who used to work as education workers on a small salary are considering this day as a lucky day for themselves. A large number of ANMs of Health Department are included in contract employees. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has not disappointed anyone and has given such a huge gift today. Contractual employees are felicitating Chief Minister Shri Chouhan.
