Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the country and the state are our mother. Newly appointed youth in government service should contribute fully in fulfilling the duty towards the mother by doing better work. Enlighten the name of the state in the world by making it the best state.
He said that you have been selected in government service because of your merit, hard work, honesty and transparency. You have become a part of Team Madhya Pradesh. You are welcome in team Madhya Pradesh. I had announced to give one lakh government jobs, so far 55 thousand recruitments have been done. One lakh recruitment will be completed before 15th August. After this, the process of recruitment for the next 50 thousand posts will also be started.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the appointment letter distribution program to newly appointed youths in government service at Chief Minister’s residence office Samatva Bhawan today.
Chief Minister Chouhan distributed appointment letters to the newly appointed youth and congratulated them, their parents and teachers.
Appointment letters were distributed to about 2000 selected youth in various departments including Energy, Public Works, Technical Education and Skill Development, Forest, Panchayat and Rural Development, Water Resources, Public Health Engineering. Water Resources, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat, Minister of State for School Education and General Administration Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Shri Vinod Kumar and officials of various departments and newly appointed youth were present.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that you and all of us are public servants. Work as a servant to provide better facilities to the people of the state. Don’t consider job as just employment, it is a guarantee of service to the public. Coming to government service is a rare opportunity. Make better use of it, so that Madhya Pradesh can touch the heights of development. If there is a yearning to do something in the heart, then it does not let you sit peacefully. By keeping such yearning, you should get involved in the service of the public with determination. Work for the progress and development of the state with positive thinking and attitude.
State is progressing fast
Chief Minister Chouhan said that our state is progressing fast. Earlier the per capita income was Rs 11 thousand, which has now increased to Rs one lakh 40 thousand. The GSDP of Madhya Pradesh was Rs 71 thousand crore earlier, which has now increased to Rs 15 lakh crore. Electricity production has increased from 2900 MW to 28 thousand MW. Works of development and progress are happening all around. We are moving forward in every direction including employment and skill, irrigation, development of cities, drinking water, panchayat, rural development, energy, forest. May your contribution be better in fulfilling the infinite possibilities of taking Madhya Pradesh forward.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Ladli Behana Yojana has been made so that the poorest of the poor should not feel lonely. Chief Minister Chouhan encouraged the selected youth by taking a group picture with them.
