Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that government service is not for one’s own oneself but for loved ones and all the people of the state are our loved ones. If we work for their welfare and progress, then the state will progress. Government service gives the assurance of a permanent job, but the responsibility of doing better work for the common man is also vested in it.

The work done dutifully in government service is marked as your contribution in the building of society, country and state. Chief Minister Chouhan was interacting with newly appointed managers, assistant quality controllers and sub-engineers of Madhya Pradesh Warehousing and Logistics Corporation after handing over the appointment letters.

The Chief Minister gave appointment letters to 24 officers. Corporation President Rahul Singh, Principal Secretary Umakant Umrao and other officers were present in the programme held at the residence office in Samatva Bhavan.

The work of storage and management of fertilizers, seeds and produce is critical

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the work of Warehousing Corporation is related to the farmers. The state government is making constant efforts to make farming a profitable business. This will be possible only when the fertilizers, seeds required for farming reach the farmers properly and proper storage and management of the crop grown by the farmers is ensured. The employees and officers of the Warehousing Corporation have an important role in all these works. Your work is critical. The newly appointed employees and officers should discharge their responsibilities with a sense of service and joy. We should be aware that we are building a nation, let us do our work with pride and dignity. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also shared a story about having a positive attitude towards work.
