Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended greetings and best wishes to all the sisters and daughters of the state on International Women’s Day.
He said that International Women’s Day should not be for one day, every day, every hour should be of sisters and daughters.
Chouhan said that I am satisfied that I have done whatever I could for the welfare of daughters and sisters.
The Chief Minister said that Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojana for the marriage of daughters, education of daughters, depositing the amount in the accounts of laboring sisters after the birth of son and daughter in Sambal Yojana, separate industrial park for women. Many important decisions including reduction in stamp duty have been taken in the interest of women. Along with this, arrangements have been made for 50 percent reservation for women in local bodies, 50 percent in education and 30 percent in police recruitment.
Chouhan said that with the aim of empowering women, we have started the most important Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. He said that it is my endeavor to bring qualitative improvement in the lives of sisters, daughters and mothers, how to keep their lives happy, therefore, many schemes have been brought to the ground.
Chouhan said that we have full faith in the abilities of the sisters. She can also do security work with full responsibility and courage. So today only sisters will be with me throughout the day as my personal staff, driver, security and photographer. This in itself is a big step towards women empowerment.
