Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has greeted and extended good wishes to all the weavers and handicraftsmen on National Handloom Day. CM Chouhan has tweeted that handloom is a priceless heritage of Indian culture, it joins us with our traditions.
CM Chouhan has called upon the people of the state to promote handloom products and take a pledge to adopt Swadeshi.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is the result of the hard work of the weavers that our Chanderi and Maheshwari Saris along with traditional block printing, natural dye printing of Zardosi, Kukshi and Manavar have won the hearts of people all over the world.
CM Chouhan said that it is my wish that this art of the state remains intact and all our friends associated with handloom work become capable and self-dependent.
