MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan alongwith cabinet colleague and Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra jointly planted a sapling of banyan tree in the Smart Park, Bhopal on Saturday.
Chouhan said plantation is the most enjoyable activity. With a little effort from all of sus, the earth will be green and prosperous.
He requested the residents to plant saplings and contribute in every possible way in the achievement of the resolution of #OnePlatADay.
The Banyan tree is also known as Vat, Bargad. According to the Hindu Mythology the shelter given by the Banyan tree is the shelter given by God and the tree is called Kalpavriksha.
