Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan held a meeting with State Nodal Officers of Enforcement Agency under election expenditure monitoring at Nirvachan Sadan, Bhopal.
Illegal liquor, Mahua Lahan, illegal money, prevention of drugs, checking of nakas on the border of State and other points related to election were discussed in the meeting. Along with this, the actions being taken by the State Nodal Officers were also reviewed.
Rajan also directed the officers of the Transport Department to check vehicles and take action on sirens, name plates installed in vehicles illegally, and the officers of the Forest Department to check forest nakas.
Along with this, instructions were given to state nodal officers to issue toll free numbers.
Nodal officers of Police, Excise, Income Tax, State Level Bankers Committee, Reserve Bank of India, Central Board of Custom, CGST-GST, DRI, Narcotics Control Bureau, Central Bureau of Narcotics, State Narcotics, ED, Railway Police, RPF, CISF, Air Port Authority of India, State Civil Aviation Department, Forest Department, Postal Department, Transport Department were informed about the preparations through presentation in the meeting.
Joint Chief Electoral Officer Rakesh Singh, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Pramod Shukla, ADG Cyber and State Nodal Officer Election Expenditure Monitoring Yogesh Deshmukh, IG Law and Security System Anurag and nodal officers of all departments were present in the meeting.
