The Central Electricity Authority will organize a workshop on the topic “Resource Advocacy-Need and Way Forward” at Bhopal on Oct. 28.
Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, New and Renewable Energy and Environment Minister Hardeep Singh Dung, Chairman of Central Electricity Authority of India and ex-officio Secretary Ghanshyam Prasad, Principal Secretary Energy Sanjay Dubey and the senior officers of Energy Departments of states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Daman &Diu will attend the workshop.
In the workshop, discussions will be held regarding the preparation of Resource Advocacy Plan for proper use of conventional and non-conventional energy resources of the country. Guidelines have also been prepared by the Central Electricity Authority in this regard.
