Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked the voters across the state for supporting the BJP that won posts of president in 227 janpad panchayats out of 312.
The BJP won the post of surpanch in 20613 village panchayats out of 22924 village panchayats, Chouhan told a press conference. The three tier Panchayat polls process completed today.
The BJP has entered the soul of people in rural areas and not only their houses through various welfare schemes run by both the State and the Centre.
He reiterated that there will be no dearth of funds to carry development works.
The development works are carried by the double engine government as the state government has support from PM Modi at the Centre, he said.
Chouhan condemned Congress MP Digvijaya Singh for attempted to stop the voters in the vehicle and pull them from entering the premises.
He said such politics was never witnessed in Madhya Pradesh before as what Congress done today.
Chouhan said holding a police officer with collar is not a decent act.
The voters are not influenced by such acts but they (voters) get distressed, he said.
