The Jabalpur Police and Health Department authorities jointly inspected a hotel on Friday and found over 60 patients holder of Ayushman Card were taking treatment were admitted by the private Central India Kindey Hospital.
The hotel is situated adjoining to the private hospital, the police said.
Some patients belong to rural areas of the district.
The police got inputs that the hospital pays some money to the Ayushman Card holders for admission for five days, the police said.
The police is waiting for a report from the health authorities for further legal action into the matter.
