The flying squad of forest department seized 67 logs of teak from Kishorilal Lodhi’s house in Bori (Phofasa), in district Balaghat.
Chief Conservator of Forests APS Sengar instructed the officials to take strict action against the illegal possession of teak wood.
On the information received from the informer, the search was conducted in village- Bori (Fofsa). The search was conducted after taking warrant number-32 dated 06/10/2022 in the house of Kishorilal Lodhi resident of village-Bori (Fofsa).
During the search, a total of 67 nos. of teak logs (about 0.344 cubic meters) chiran and wood were confiscated in the house.
After completing the departmental proceedings, the primary forest crime report number 16144/17 dated 06/10/2022 was registered and handed over to the West Lanji (General) Forest Zone for further action.
