The Chief Minister reached Gwarighat on time during his busy schedule during the two-day stay in Narmada Mahaarti, which has been going on for the last 11 years, at Gwarighat on the Narmada coast. Narmada Ashtak was first recited by the acharyas. After this Maha Aarti was performed. Chief Minister Chouhan performed Maha Aarti after worshiping Narmada. Pandit Omkar Dubey, the convenor of Narmada Mahaarti, performed the puja.

Took oath of cleanliness

After Mahaarti, little girl Tejaswani Dubey administered oath to the people present to keep the banks of Narmada clean. Tejaswani told the Chief Minister that she had earlier administered the oath before him. Since then she is doing this work everyday. Expressing happiness, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Tejaswani is the brand ambassador of the place, which has so far made about 30 lakh people take oath to keep Narmada clean.
