The Combined Medical Services (CMS) test 2021 has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The UPSC will fill a total of 838 posts with CMS 2021 through this recruitment process.
The application procedure has already started. Individuals can submit their applications up to July 27. (6 pm). According to the UPSC’s official statement, the exam is scheduled for November 21.
Category-I Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service – 349
Category-II
(i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: 300
(ii) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council: 05
(iii) General duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation: 184
Important Instructions: The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available in the UPSC website -upsconline.nic.in for downloading by candidates. No Admit Card will be sent by post.
Age Limit: A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August, 2021, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1989. However, for Junior Time Scale Posts in Central Health Services, the upper age limit must not exceed 35 (thirty-five years) on the aforesaid cut-off date.
The upper age limit is relaxable as follows.
-A maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
– A maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
– Up to a maximum of three years in the case of Defence Services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.
A candidate who has appeared or will appear in final M.B.B.S. examination is also eligible. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation if they do not produce proof of passing the written and practical sections of the final M.B.B.S.
