Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said no farmer’s land in Begumganj will remain unirrigated and water will be supplied to every household through the Bina river project in Madhya Pradesh.
He laid the foundation and dedicated Har Ghar Jal, irrigation and other development works in Begumganj of Raisen district amounting to around Rs.500 crore.
Chouhan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done outstanding work for the welfare of the poor.
Describing the works of former Chief Minister Uma Bharti as ‘tapasya’, Chouhan said he work hard continuously for the welfare of the people.
Earlier, ex-chief minister Uma Bharti appreciated the government of Chief Minister Chouhan and said Shivraj is doing ‘tapasya’ in the form of service.
Chouhan said the God has created air, water and land for everyone. It is our resolve to provide ownership of residential land to every poor.
More than 36000 applications have been received under the land rights scheme. We will seize illegally possessed land from goons, mafia and distribute it to the poor, he said.
The amount of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be deposited in the accounts of 7.50 crore families in the state, he said.
Referring to the campaign launched to empower the Anganwadi, Chouhan called upon all sections of the society to take the responsibility of providing nutrition to the children.
Chief Minister Chouhan said there will be no shortage of funds in the welfare of the people and development of the state. It is our resolve that no poor in the state will live without a pucca house.
Everyone will get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he said.
The development and welfare of all sections is our priority. Mama will take care of the marriage of girls, medical treatment, employment of youth and children’s education.
Chief Minister Chouhan also unveiled the statues of Maharana Pratap, Rani Avanti Bai, Maa Karma and Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Begumganj.
During kanya pujan, Ladli Laxmis wrote a letter to their beloved mama, Chief Minister Chouhan. One of the girla said – ‘Thank you mama ji, because of you I became Ladli Laxmi and I am getting scholarship in Class VI.” Chouhan blessed all the girls and asked them to study further.
