This accident took place in Dharapuram town of Tirupur district where a mobile phone exploded in the pocket of a 14 years old boy. The phone blast caused severe injuries on his thighs. Police told that a 9th class student named Balaraj had kept a mobile phone and its charger in his pocket while going to school. He told that the phone got exploded suddenly, causing severe injuries to his thighs.
Police said that the child has been admitted to the hospital. Many cases have happened before. A similar case was reported in Biharsharif in Bihar.
