Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang launched the ‘Dil Se Dil Ki Dekhbhal’ programme on World Heart Day at Gandhi Medical College on Thursday.
He announced to start CPR training programme under Medical Education Department.
He said that through this, the common man would also be able to save the life of the patient till the doctor reaches in case of a heart attack.
This will save many precious lives.
CPR training programme will be started by Medical Education Department
Minister Sarang said that due to today’s hectic routine, the problem of heart disease is being seen in the new generation too.
He said that through the programme ‘Dil Se Dil Ki Dekhbhal’, awareness about the prevention of heart disease would be spread among the people.
Giving the example of famous comedian Shri Raju Srivastava, Minister Sarang said that if he was given CPR at the right time in the gym, his life might have been saved.
He said that in case of heart attack, only CPR can give life to the patient. For this purpose, CPR training will be given in schools, colleges, offices and gyms by preparing a detailed programme outline by the Medical Education Department. This can save many lives.
Environment-protection key pillar of ‘Dil Se Dil Ki Dekhbhal’
Minister Sarang said that along with the upliftment of humanity and welfare of the individual, environmental protection is also the main pillar of the ‘Dil Se Dil Ki Dekhbhal’ programme.
He said that pollution is responsible for 25 percent of the deaths due to heart attack in the world.
In such a situation, a big step can be taken in the prevention of heart disease by environmental protection.
Cardiac helpline will also be started in future
Minister Sarang informed that for the prevention of heart disease and emergency like heart attack, the Medical Education Department is also considering starting a cardiac helpline in the coming time.
He said that a cardiac helpline would be started after considering all the aspects.

Minister Sarang said that Madhya Pradesh is going to become the first state in the country to start MBBS course in Hindi.
He said that Hindi version of first year MBBS Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry books has been completed. With the introduction of the course in Hindi, there will be a positive change in the quality of medical students.
Hamidia’s medical emergency ward will become world class
Minister Shri Sarang said that the emergency ward of Hamidia Hospital is being developed on the lines of a corporate hospital.
For this, soft skill training will be given to the doctors, nursing and para medical staff working in the emergency department.
CPR training given to medical students
Medical students were told how to save the lives of victims in emergency situations.
Also, training was given on what is CPR and its benefits and precautions.
Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, Gandhi Medical College Dean Dr. Arvind Rai, Superintendent of Hamidia Hospital Dr. Ashish Gohia, Head of Cardiology Department Dr. Rajiv Gupta, Head of Emergency Medicine Department Dr. Ruchi Tandon were present along with a large number of medical students.
