Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government is committed to empowering women. He expressed gratitude to beloved sisters for their affection.

The Chief Minister said that the month of Sawan is the biggest festival for sisters as Raksha Bandhan occurs in Sawan.

To add colors of happiness to the festival, Rs 250 in addition to Rs 1250 will be deposited in the accounts of Ladli Behnas on August 10.

Dr. Yadav participated in the thanksgiving program organized for the Ladli Behnas at Chitrangi in Singrauli district on the occasion of the Raksha Bandhan and Shravan Utsav.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that industries are being established intending to increase employment opportunities and women will be given employment on a priority basis.

The Chief Minister said that under the Ujjwala scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, free gas connections will be given to women.

Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries and Ladli Behnas in the state will get the facility of gas refill for Rs 450.

Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development Radha Singh and Behnas tied Rakhi to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.

The Chief Minister sat on the ground for the Rakhi tying ritual. A 101-feet-long Rakhi was tied to the Chief Minister by Ladli Behnas from Singrauli district.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Singrauli district is a far-flung district but it will be at the forefront in development.

The Chief Minister announced the construction of a 50-bed hospital at Bargawa for Rs 15 crore.

He announced the electrification of halmets of Chitrangi for Rs 50 crore from CSR head. He also announced that very soon air travel facility will begin from Singrauli for three days a week.

He said that even the poorest of the poor would get the facility of an air ambulance. Saving the life of people is most important for us.

Ayushman card holders will get this facility free of cost. The Chief Minister said that a Mining College will be inaugurated soon in Singrauli.

Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development, Radha Singh expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for granting Chitrangi a Nagar Panchayat status.

The Minister of State apprised him about various demands for the development of the area.

MP Dr. Rajesh Mishra expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for choosing Chitrangi for the inauguration of the festival.

He also expressed his gratitude for the unprecedented blessings showered on the people.

Earlier, on reaching the venue of the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by the Ladli Behnas with flower showers.

The Chief Minister was also welcomed with a traditional folk dance.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes run by the government.

Preeti Devi Yadav was benefitted for the tent house project under the Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana.

An amount of Rs 10 crore was given to self-help groups to enhance livelihood activities. Also, an amount of Rs 9 crore 3 lakh was distributed under the Poultry Hatchery, Pullet Breeder, and Feed Farm Scheme for the preparation of chicks and grain production for poultry farmers.

An amount of Rs 86 lakh was provided for the construction of organic agriculture, commercial vegetable production, advanced animal husbandry and dairy work, and fertilizer production.

Chief Minister plants Rudraksha sapling

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a Rudraksha sapling in Sakaria in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in the thanksgiving program organized in Chitrangi for the Ladli Behnas.

Other public representatives present on the occasion also planted medicinal plants during the campaign.
