The soon to be launched series of episodes in August will focus on the Atlanta Child Murders, which took place between 1979 and 1981 and saw the murders of 28 children in Atlanta, Georgia.
As per Billboard, Fincher is returning in the second season to direct a few episodes while others will be shot by Andrew Dominik and Carl Franklin. “Next year we’re looking at the Atlanta child murders, so we’ll have a lot more African American music which will be nice.”
He added: “The music will evolve. It’s intended to support what’s happening with the show and for the show to evolve radically between seasons.”
