The Odisha government reshuffled the State IAS cadre on Thursday. It appointed senior IAS officer Vishal Kumar Dev as the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department.
Deoranjan Kumar Singh, who is now the Principal Secretary of the PR&OW Department, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Steel and Mines Department, as per the notification released by the State General Administration and Public Grievance Department.
Ashok Kumar Kalaram Meena, the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department has been appointed to the Principal Secretary of the PR&DW Department.
Surendra Kumar, who is currently the Principal Secretary of the Steel and Mines Department with additional responsibilities as Chairman of OMC, Chairman of OMECL, and Chairman of IDCOL, Bhubaneswar, will be the new Principal Secretary of the GA & PG Department.
In addition to his own responsibilities, he has been given the additional role of Principal Secretary of the Tourism Department. According to the notification, the additional appointments of Sanjeev Chopra, IAS as Additional Chief Secretary of the G.A. & P.G. Department, and Shri Vishal Kumar Dev as Principal Secretary of the Tourism Department will be terminated when Surendra Kumar takes over.
R Vineel Krishna, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s Special Secretary, has been given the additional responsibility of Sports and Youth Services.
