Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the immense contribution of Mahatma Gandhi provided India a distinct identity in the world.

He was a man of such a unique personality who, by following the path of non-violence, defeated that power whose influence was said to span the globe without end. He presented the culture of India to the world from a different perspective.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed this view on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s Jayanti on October 2, after garlanding his statue located in Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium Complex.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Mahatma Gandhi struggled on many fronts.

Along with the struggle for independence, he also tried to fight against inequality and awareness towards cleanliness.

Punctuality and insistence on Swadeshi were such aspects through which he wanted to empower India and transform the lives of the people of the country.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a concrete form to these points and urged the countrymen to celebrate Swachhata Pakhwada.

The basic mantra of “Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas” given by Prime Minister Modi contains all the elements of the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi.

The path shown by Mahatma Gandhi and his philosophy are very relevant even in today’s circumstances.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, adopting a simple life, Swadeshi and handicrafts, India is continuously moving on the path of progress with determination and confidence.
