Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has honoured Madhya Pradesh in New Delhi on Thursday for doing remarkable work in PM Swanidhi Yojana. Additional Commissioner Urban Administration and Development Shri Awadhesh Sharma received the honour. During this, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manoj Joshi was also present.
Significantly, Madhya Pradesh is at number one in the country in PM Swanidhi Yojana. Madhya Pradesh’s Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh said that remarkable work is being done in all urban development schemes under the guidance of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The officers and employees of the department have been appreciated for this achievement.
Progress in PM Swanidhi scheme 109 percent
A total of 7 lakh 31 thousand 517 cases have been approved in Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Out of these, loans have been disbursed in 7 lakh 8 thousand 894 cases against the target of 6 lakh 48 thousand 850 allotted to the state. The percentage of progress in the scheme is 109.25.
