Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that full cooperation has always been given to the investors interested in industrial development of the state. This policy will continue in future also. Business will increase due to investment promotion in the state.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the State Government is making every effort to ensure that maximum investment comes to the State.
CM Chouhan said that work has started for floating solar plant at Omkareshwar in the state.
The state government is serious about the use of non-conventional solar energy sources.
To implement such proposals received from the industry sector, the State Government will extend full cooperation as per the policies and provisions. CM Chouhan was discussing with the investors who came to meet him at Mantralaya today.
The investors who met Chief Minister Shri Chouhan included industrialists from Shri Jindal Group and Sagar Group.
The investors apprised Chief Minister Chouhan about the investment proposals. Jindal Group representative told that they are willing to set up cement production and other units at a cost of more than 4 thousand crores.
The group is also preparing a proposal for investment in the field of wind energy.
Sagar Group informed about providing employment to more than 3 thousand people from the new unit of yarn/fabric product in Tamot village of Goharganj tehsil of Raisen district.
Chief Minister Chouhan was invited by the group for the Bhoomi-Poojan of the new project.
The unit of the group is established from the year 2013, in which about 3 thousand youths have got employment.
Inspired by the CM Rise scheme, the school is being run for the rural students of Raisen district, where all the facilities have been provided free of cost.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manish Rastogi and Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Sanjay Kumar Shukla were present during the meeting with the investors.
