Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the work of managing unutilized public assets in the state is being done in a better way.
Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country where Madhya Pradesh State Assets Management Company Limited has been formed.
Chief Minister Chouhan will be the chairman of the Board of Directors.
The management work is being done at a fast pace by identifying the assets in the state.
The government is getting more benefit than the reserve price through management of assets.
Chief Minister Chouhan was presiding over the maiden meeting of the Board of Directors of Madhya Pradesh State Assets Management Company Limited.
Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains along with officers of the Public Assets Department and the Company were present.
The approval was given to give contractual appointment to Priyanka Kumari on the post of Company Secretary for smooth functioning of the company.
The approval was also given for creation of 3 new posts for smooth conduct of daily work and detailed work to be done in the company.
It was decided to constitute an executive committee in the company in compliance with the decision of the Cabinet.
The approval was given to implement the merger, recruitment process and service recruitment rules prevalent in MPRDC as per the administrative structure of the company.
As a result of the Cabinet’’s decision, 23 posts were sanctioned for company works.
It was informed that part of BSNL building located at Arera Hills is to be taken on rent for the company office.
The department was constituted on 26 September, 2020 for the management of unutilized public assets in compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan.
The platform was developed for identification/discharge of assets in three months.
The disposal of assets with transparency by creating a well-established process for tender-cum-e-auction in 2 months.
It is 2.25 times the reserve value of assets (Rs. 225 of Rs.100) received by the government.
