Madhya Pradesh State Legislative Assembly Leader of Opposition Dr. Govind Singh has written a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner and the Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh to restrict Bharatiya Janata Party led MP government from announcing new welfare schemes as the BJP has started preparation and has issued list of 39 candidates for ensuing general assembly elections in the State.
According to Dr. Singh any announcement made by the government will amount to pursue the voters and is contrary o norms of the election code of conduct.
