Lalu Prasad Yadav, who came behind the bars in the fodder scam case, had several complaints from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) during the hearing. Describing himself as a big leader, he told the court that he was treated like a general prisoner.

In response, the court told Lalu that the rules are equal for all, regardless of who they are. An eyewitness present at the court told that there were many such things between the judge Shivpal Singh and Lalu which converted the atmosphere funny and incidents were laughable.

Meanwhile, Lalu complained and said that the jail premises are not being given to his knowledgeable people, the judge said that the rules of the jail will have to be followed. While Lalu asked to make the sentence from 3.5 years to 2.5 years, the judge said why he should do this? The judge said that such things should not be done in the court.

This is the eighth time when Laloo is in jail, but this is the first time that jail officials are imposing rules and regulations on them. BJP-ruled Raghubar Das’s Jharkhand government has refused to give any kind of special treatment to RJD President. On Wednesday, Lalu gave another plea to the court saying that Makar Sankranti Festival is on Sunday. He said – We celebrate it by eating curd and bud. That is he should be allowed to meet supporters. But the judge ignored his statement and gave a faint smile and said that he would ensure that he got a curd and bud in the jail.
