The trade fair organised by the Laghu Udyog Bharti a wing of RSS focused on MSME development was held in Katni district was participated by entrepreneurs from within and outside Madhya Pradesh.

The workshops were organized by the organization on various topics related to the entreprenuership.

In the workshop the large number of women entrepreneurs and other participated.

In which information about labor laws was given by the labor department officer.

Similarly information about food related rules was presented to the entrepreneurs by the food department officer.

Information about banking facilities was provided by the officials from Bank of Baroda.

Information about GST related rules was given by CA Sandeep Patoria.


Laghu Udyog Bharti state general secretary Arun Soni, said Katni second highest generating revenue after Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

He said Katni is a commercial city and is the highest revenue generating district after Indore, claiming the entrepreneurs here are afraid of the departmental officers. This atmosphere of fear should end, he demanded.

If there is any error in compliance of the rules, the officers must give opportunity to correct it, he said.

Only then we will be able to develop our district and state rapidly, he said.

Along with this, there should be more relaxation in the rules related to banking wherein the youth who have the passion to do something in business sector should be provided loans on easy terms by banks, Soni said.

At the conclusion of the program, City Superintendent of Police Khyati Mishra visited the fair and the products manufactured by women entrepreneurs was appreciated.

The three days fair concluded on Tuesday, Katni men’s wing President Hari Singh Bhadoria and Women’s wing President Priya Soni expressed gratitude to the people of the entire city, police administration, district administration, media and all those who provided direct and indirect support in this program.​

More than 50 stalls have been set up in this event in which not only Katni district is represented but also stalls from other districts of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal, Satna, Nagpur, Jabalpur etc. which mainly include handloom garments, cottage industry, food products, plastic etc. stalls of products footwear electrical products as well as a variety of food items have been set up. The Stalls of machinery related to industries and automobile sector have also find place in the fair.
