Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Ladli Bahna Yojana is not a ritual but it heralds social revolution in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started. Now the Ladli Bahna scheme has been started for the sisters. If the sisters are prosperous then the family will be prosperous.
Economic problems of middle and poor class sisters will be solved. This scheme will bring prosperity in their life. When women have money, the condition of the house will change. Women are being given their rights in Madhya Pradesh. Their dignity is being taken care of. The pension of old women will be increased from Rs. 600 to Rs. 1000, he said.
Chouhan said that women should live with self-respect, atrocities will not be allowed on the land of the state. To make women strong, Ladli Bahna Sena will be formed in every village. Sisters will be involved in this, who will work for the safety of women.
He said that the homeless would be given land to live on. The tribal class also has the right on water, forests and land. They have been given powers under the PESA rules.
Chouhan attended Mukhya Mantri Bhu Adhikar (Chief Minister Residential Land Rights) patra distribution and Women’s Conference at Betul Police Ground on Monday.
CM Chouhan said that Maa Tapti Corridor will be built in Multai. Its complete outline will be prepared. He also announced to name institutions after revolutionaries. The Chief Minister dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of development works worth more than Rs. 680 crore.
Chouhan said that I am always ready for the welfare of women. Many decisions have been taken by the state government for the empowerment of sisters. For political empowerment along with providing reservation to women in elections for Panchayat and urban bodies, arrangements have been made for 50 percent reservation in teacher recruitment and 30 percent in police recruitment to provide opportunities in government services.
He said the daughters also proved their talent in this. The state government gives exemption in the registration fee for getting the land registered in the name of a woman.
Chouhan said that Ladli Bahna Yojana is a scheme that came out of my heart. Through the scheme, now an amount of Rs.1000 per month will be given in the accounts of our poor, lower middle class sisters.
This amount will prove beneficial for women struggling with financial constraints.
The nutritional level of children will improve and there will be sweetness in the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Chouhan said that the work of submission of women’s applications will continue till April 30.
He also made the sisters aware about the eligibility and application process of the scheme.
The Chief Minister said that e-KYC is very important in the scheme, so that the amount can go directly to the accounts of the sisters.
Funds are being made available by the state government for the e-KYC of the sisters.
An FIR should be lodged immediately on getting information about any person demanding money for this.
Chouhan instructed the district administration that proper arrangements for seating and drinking water should be made for the sisters at the application centres. In villages and wards where there is a problem of e-KYC due to network, arrangements should be made for vehicles to take sisters to other villages or wards to get e-KYC done.
No one will be homeless
Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Mukhya Mantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana, all the homeless will be given free land for living. No one will be remain homeless. The benefits of resources are being passed on to the last person. The tribal class is also being given the right over water, forest and land. Under the PESA rule, the disputes of the village are being settled in the village itself by the Peace and Disputes Redressal Committee in the Gram Sabha in the Panchayats. The poor will be protected from exploitation.
Now compassionate appointment to daughters too
Chief Minister Chouhan said that earlier only sons were given compassionate appointments in government services. Now it has been decided that the daughters will also get compassionate appointment. The CM also gave a compassionate appointment letter to daughter Sangeeta Gohe, a resident of village Jeen.
Now the ahata bars will not open
Chief Minister Chouhan said that no ahata bars will be opened in the state. All the ahatas have been closed. No one will consume alcohol on the road or in the park. This arrangement will stop the atrocities on women and there will be a moral control on alcohol.
CM Rise will bring change in the field of education
Chief Minister Chouhan said that efforts are being made to change Madhya Pradesh. To make education better, now CM Rise Schools are being established in the entire state, so that children can get better education. Medical studies are also being conducted in Hindi in the state.
Water will be available from the tap in every house
The Chief Minister said that our sisters no longer need to go far and operate hand-pumps to fetch water. Through the Jal Jeevan Mission, water will be available from the tap in the house itself.
Everyone has to come forward to wake up the society
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the society has to be changed and a new Madhya Pradesh has to be created. For this everyone has to work together. He called upon everyone along with women to stand together against injustice.
Visited the exhibition of development works
Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the programme with Kanya Pujan and lighting the lamp. He distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes and had a look at the development exhibition.
Light of development is spreading in all directions: MP Uike
Member of Parliament Shri Durgadas Uike said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, the light of development is spreading in all four directions in the entire state. Many public welfare schemes have brought radical changes in the lives of common people. The benefits of the schemes are reaching the last person of the society. MLA Yogesh Pandagre said that Chief Minister Chouhan has made incomparable contribution in the all-round development of the state. Due to the efforts of the Chief Minister, a power plant will be set up in Sarani at a cost of 55 crores. Tenders have also been floated for this by NTPC. Former MP Hemant Khandelwal said that Betul district resides in the heart of Chief Minister Chouhan. CM Chouhan has made the district a leader in irrigation, drinking water, medicine and education. Ladli Bahnas offered 101 feet long rakhi to brother Shivraj
In the Women’s Conference, the sisters of 500 gram panchayats of the district expressed their gratitude to their brother CM Chouhan for launching the Ladli Bahna Yojana by offering a 101 feet long rakhi. Ladli Bahna badge was also pinned to Chief Minister Chouhan as a symbol. People’s representatives, a large number of women and citizens were present in the convention.
