Sagar, MP. In many schools of Madhya Pradesh, there is not even a proper sitting arrangements for the students and they are compelled to sit on the floor. There are still few schools where they do not even have a school building and the classes are going on under the tree only.
‘Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan’ is no more! Somewhere Teachers, so somewhere students were missing from the schools and Anganwadi.

Inspection report will be given to departmental officer

Only three children in the hostel
There were only three children in the hostel’s hostel of the Tribal Welfare Department. The office of the hostel was closed. The same scenario was the girl’s hostel under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. The hostel was locked. Warden was absent. Only the watchman was present there.
Only three out of 80 children were present there
A teacher was present at Ramchandrapurra Primary School. The other was missing from the school. The teacher present in the institution did not even know that the other teacher has taken a leave or has gone somewhere from government work. The kitchen shed of this institution was also closed. Three children were sitting in the Anganwadi center of this village. While P (Present) was put in front of the name of 80 children out of 89 children registered on the register. There was only one teacher present at Hinotta Middle School. The second was absent.
The villager says, the school opens for two days only
District Education Committee Chairman Tripti Singh inspected the school on Monday, hostel and anganwadi center in the Banda area. The primary and middle school of Tentwara village was closed at 12 noon. The villagers said that it is often so. The school lock opens for two to three days in a week. In the mid-day meal for 14 children present in the lethal Tola Primary School, 20 roti and a few lentils were brought in a bag. All of them came to the poor primary school at around noon in the afternoon. There was a chair in the school – the table was kept in toilets. There was no black board in the class room. All 14 children who came to school were sitting on the ground.
Midday meal
In the meantime, there was a mid-day meal of children in the jungle. The Chairman told that in the jeep, 20 loaves of counting and one lump of pulse was kept in the compartment. 20 roti and a few pulses were to be served among 14 children. In the middle of the school there was a class room with a black board. For this reason the teachers were not even able to teach the children sitting on the flooor in the class room. Female teacher in primary school was busy in their mobile.
