There have been several rumours about the casting of Dhoom 4 for quite some time now. Despite the fact that the film has yet to be formally announced, fans of the franchise are anxious to learn who will star in the fourth instalment. Actors like John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan played key parts in previous instalments.
There have been rumours that Akshay Kumar would feature opposite Salman Khan in Dhoom 4. During a recent interview with a newspaper, the actor addressed the rumours. In two words, he rejected the popular social media rumour: “Fake News.”
After a tweet suggesting that Akshay was virtually confirmed for the role went viral, rumours of him starring in Dhoom 4 began to circulate.
Dhoom is an action thriller franchise that has become the second-largest Bollywood film franchise in terms of box-office revenue. The Dhoom 3 was written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. It featured Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra.
The third installment of the Dhoom series and the sequel to Dhoom (2004) and Dhoom 2 (2006).
Meanwhile, Sooryavanshi, BellBottom, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Atrangi Re, Ram Setu, and OMG 2 are among Akshay Kumar’s next projects.
While Sooryavanshi has been postponed thrice, BellBottom would be Akshay’s first theatrical release following the epidemic. On July 27, the film will be released in theatres.
