Puneeth Rajkumar, the son of Kannada movie icon Rajkumar, died on Friday after suffering a major heart attack. He was 46 years old at the time. Despite the hospital’s lack of formal confirmation, condolences have already begun to flood in.
Puneeth felt acute chest discomfort and had a heart attack while working out at a gym, according to family sources. He was sent to Vikram Hospital right away. When he was transported to the hospital, Dr. Ranganath Nayak declared that his condition was critical.
Puneeth was being treated in the intensive care unit. Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant has arrived at Puneeth’s Sadashivanagar house.
Puneeth was born on March 17, 1975 and was fondly known as ‘Appu’. He was also a singer, television presenter and producer. He acted in more than 29 films. He also appeared in many films as a child artiste. He won the National Film Award for Best Child Artiste for his role in ‘Bettada Hoovu’. He made his debut in the Kannada film industry with ‘Appu’ in 2002.
