Kamal Haasan, the president of Makkal Needhi Maiam and an actor, said on Monday that he had tested positive with COVID-19 and had been hospitalized to a hospital.
“Following my return from the United States, I had a minor cough. The coronavirus infection was verified when I tested. In the hospital, I’ve secluded myself. The COVID-19 spread has not faded, therefore everyone should be cautious “In a tweet, Haasan stated.
During his visit, Haasan met with his North American supporters on November 15 in Chicago, where they briefed him on their current projects and future plans. Despite being in a different nation for business, the MNM chairman commended them on their support for their motherland. Hasan arrived home a few days ago.
Prior to his overseas trip, the MNM leader toured flood-affected areas in the country and provided relief aid on behalf of his party.
On November 20, Hasan stated MNM’s robust resistance to such legislations and his party leaders’ demonstration in Delhi were “historic moments of pride,” in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on the repeal of agricultural laws.
The 67-year-old actor-politician, who celebrated his birthday on November 7, is still active in film and television production.
He is now working on a Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, the forthcoming action film “Vikram,” and the long-awaited sequel “Indian-2.” He is also the host of the Star Vijay television channel’s “Bigg Boss” show (Tamil season 5)
