Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today participated in the Mahasammelan of Kalchuri Samaj and performed Bhoomi Pujan for development of Shri Sahastrabahu Bhagwan Temple and community building.
Chouhan also offered prayers at the temple premises located at E-8, Arera Colony Vasant Kunj, Bhopal.
Earlier, the Chief Minister was welcomed by the national president and office bearers of the society.
Chouhan said that Kalchuri Samaj is a hardworking community, which has contributed to the development of the state. The upliftment of the societies also leads to the upliftment of the country and the state. Necessary steps will be taken by the government according to the suggestions given by the society. Efforts will also be made for the development of the poor sections of the community in the field of education and business. Necessary decisions will be taken after discussing with the office bearers of the Mahasabha.
The Chief Minister also honoured Dilip Suryavanshi, National President of Kalchuri Mahasabha.
