Pakistan continues to violate ceasefire: In early hours of Monday morning, unprovoked firing and shelling of mortars began along LoC in Akhnoor sector of Jammu.
Pakistani Army continuing to violate the ceasefire agreement with India on Monday yet again fired unprovoked along the Line of Control in Akhnoor sector of Jammu region.
“Pakistan continues with nefarious designs and at about 0300 hours on Monday, again initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with mortars and firing of Small Arms along LoC in Akhnoor sector here,” Defence spokesperson told agencies.
He said that Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively while the exchange of fire stopped at 0630 hours in the morning.
