In the case of actress Zia Khan allegedly being sued for suicide, allegations were made against Bollywood actor Suraj Pancholi on Tuesday in the sessions court.
Judge KD Sherbhat fixed charges against actor under section 306 of Indian Penal Code. The actor called himself innocent. According to the chargesheet, Jiah Khan was hanged on 3 June 2013 at his house. He was staying at Suraj’s house for two days and returned to his house the same day. According to the CBI, during the interrogation, Suraj hid the facts and provided concrete information.
Suraj also refused to do a polygraphy or brain mapping test, but the agency wanted to conduct the investigation to go to the bottom due to the alleged role of Suraj in the incident. The CBI said that Jia had written a letter of three pages to the Mumbai Police, in which she had written about the relationship with Suraj, physical abuse and mental and physical harassment, due to which she has to commit suicide.
