Former Union Minister Late. Anil Madhav Dave had initiated the formation of the Parishad to make every resident of the state self-reliant through voluntary, collective and community participation. Jan Abhiyan Parishad was developed as a link to connect society with the government.

The Parishad plays an important role in social welfare and development activities including groundwater conservation.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration of the orientation-cum-training workshop of state, division and district level coordinators by Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad on ‘Various dimensions of integrated rural development’ under Samriddhi Yojana at Samanvay Bhawan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Lord Shri Krishna gave the message to organize the society against distortions in culture
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Shri Krishna presented many inspiring examples of struggle against the distortions coming in culture. Along with this, by organizing men and women along with children to fight evil in the form of Kansa, the message was given about the organizational capacity of the society and its meaningful use for public welfare. This shows that big challenges can be faced collectively.
Lord Shri Krishna gave the message of love to the village and the common people.
The original form of India exists only in the villages
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the true essence of India resides in its villages highlighting the need to strengthen village-level systems.
He praised the commendable efforts of the Jan Abhiyan Parishad in this direction. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various initiatives are being implemented at the village level, focusing on water conservation, renewable energy, milk production, promoting natural farming and enhancing the income of villagers. Drawing inspiration from Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman, Dr. Yadav urged the youth to take an active role in driving social reform, development, and public welfare.

Vice President of the Parishad, Nagar said that the soul of India resides in villages. Jan Abhiyan Parishad is dedicated to retaining the basic character and soul of villages.
Jan Abhiyan Parishad is committed to providing a harmonious community and organized leadership to society.
Intensive activities are being conducted by the Parishad for leadership development in every village.
The programme began with the rendition of Vande Mataram followed by the Chief Minister Dr. Yadav being welcomed with a bouquet, shawl, and shriphal.
The training cum workshop focuses on the orientation of division, district and block-level coordinators of Jan Abhiyan Parishad.
