Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gifted development works worth Rs thousands crores to Jabalpur city. He said that Jabalpur is setting new dimensions of development.

The Chief Minister said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the fly-over constructed at a cost of Rs 155 crore. Opening new doors of development for the people of Jabalpur, he said that 116 kilometers of ring roads will be constructed in Jabalpur city at a cost of Rs 5 thousand crores. The flyovers to be built in Jabalpur at a cost of Rs 1100 crore will transform the city.

Chief Minister Chouhan while giving gifts to Jabalpur said that airport terminal at a cost of Rs 450 crore, railway station at a cost of Rs 300 crore, technology center at a cost of Rs 200 crore, IT park at a cost of Rs 200 crore. Park, Madan Mahal Terminal at a cost of Rs 125 crore, Geological Park at a cost of Rs 100 crore and Real Science Center at a cost of Rs 48 crore will be built.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a 52 feet high statue of the Rani Durgavati will be installed in the proposed museum of Madan Mahal. Along with this, a grand memorial of Rani Durgavati will also be built at a cost of Rs 100 crore, which will be a symbol of her bravery and honour. The fly-over dedicated today will be known as Veerangana Rani Durgavati.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that in Jabalpur, Barela will be made Tehsil and Majhgawan will be made Nagar Panchayat.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work of development in Jabalpur is being done continuously. There will be no shortage of funds for development works in Jabalpur. Jabalpur will be developed as a metro city after Indore and Bhopal. A metro network will be laid here, which will play an important role in its development.

Chief MinisterChouhan said that the government is continuously working for the development of everyone. For the economic empowerment of sisters in the state, Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana is implemented and the amount is being deposited in the accounts of sisters every month. Under the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana, permanent houses will be built for the sisters left out of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna. Every poor person in the state will have his own land on which his own house will be built.

The Chief Minister said that mafias will not be allowed to flourish on the soil of the state. By taking effective action, the government has freed 23 thousand acres of government land from the land mafia. Multi-storey houses will be built on this and given to the poor.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the entire state is my family. To fulfill the basic needs of all the members of the family, the government is making and implementing various schemes, which include children’s education as well as housing, ration and medical facilities. The government is taking senior citizens to visit various pilgrimage sites by airplane.
