Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the resolution of the state government is to remove the poverty of the sisters and take them forward and include them in the Lakhpati club. In the Livelihood Mission, the government will give the form of a movement to connect the sisters of self-help groups with employment-oriented works and to increase income. Many schemes of the state government are getting positive results for the welfare and respect of daughters in the state. The recently launched Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana will change the lives of poor sisters, they will move towards self-reliance with dignity.
Chouhan said that the people of Dindori are praiseworthy. More daughters than sons are born in the district. This is not a simple matter. Here the number of daughters is 1104 in the ratio of 1000 sons. Dindori district knows how to respect mothers and sisters. Here the sisters are progressive, they are doing the work of conservation of advanced seeds of coarse grains like Kodo-Kutki. He has done the important work of preserving the fertility of the land by saving a lot of agricultural land of Dindori from the use of chemical fertilizers. The state government is with the farmer sisters in their efforts to improve and develop agriculture in the state.
Chouhan said that the state government has given full respect to mothers, sisters and daughters in the state. The state government had started efforts to save and increase the number of daughters from the year 2003. Arrangements were made to save daughters, make them millionaires and provide education through the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana. Now daughters are not a burden on the family. The state government is getting the daughters of poor families married under the Mukhyamantri Vivah-Nikah Yojana. He is being presented a check of Rs 49 thousand as a gift at the time of marriage.
Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Modi’s Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign has been successfully implemented in Madhya Pradesh. Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is a life-changing scheme for poor sisters. In this, Rs 1000 will be deposited every month in the bank account of the sister by the state government from June 10. The Chief Minister said that in the year 2017, he had started a scheme to give 1000 rupees every month to the sisters of special backward tribes Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya. With this money, the sisters bought nutritious food for the children. His family became financially strong. Now one lakh 23 thousand sisters of Dindori district will get the benefit of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. Sisters will not be helpless, they will become strong.
Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the silver jubilee celebrations and Mahila Sammelan of Dindori district today.
On completion of 25 years of the establishment of the district, he inaugurated the development works and performed bhoomi-pujan, giving many gifts of development.
In the function, rights letters of residential land and benefits under various public welfare schemes were distributed to the beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana.
The Governor and the Chief Minister also released the booklet “Vision Document” focusing on the vision of the development of Dindori district and also inaugurated the website of Dindori Narmada Yatra.
Governor Patel and Chief Minister Chouhan extended best wishes to the people of the district on the silver jubilee of the establishment of Dindori district.
Chouhan said that poor sisters should join the self-help group of Aajeevika Mission and remove their poverty from self-employment and join the Lakhpati Club. The state government is giving the form of a movement to the work of increasing the income of sisters through various employment-oriented schemes and programs.
Chouhan said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, drinking water will be supplied through taps to every household in the district. He said that taking a big decision in the interest of the sisters, the compound adjacent to the liquor shops has been closed. He said that in order to increase the skills of the youth and connect them with self-employment, the Mukhyamantri Sikho-Kamao Yojana has been started, in which Rs. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that earlier studies were conducted only in English language in medical colleges, now studies have been started in Hindi as well. The recruitment drive for one lakh government posts is going on in the state. Loans are being given to the youth under self-employment schemes. Along with agriculture, efforts are being made to increase employment opportunities in other sectors.
Chouhan said that an action plan should be chalked out for expansion of irrigation facilities by building dams and making a consensus with public representatives and care should also be taken to see that agricultural land does not get submerged. Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Development Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste also addressed. The guests were welcomed by wearing traditional turbans and garlands. The students who passed the JEE special examination of the district were congratulated by presenting tablets and dictionaries. In the beginning, the Governor and the Chief Minister inaugurated the development exhibition and observed and worshiped the girl child. The sisters of the district thanked the Chief Minister for the Ladli Bahna Yojana and presented Rakhi. People’s representatives, sisters and citizens were present in large numbers.
