Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that many innovations are taking place in Vikas Yatras. They have become Maha Yagya of public service.
n Chhatarpur district, the innovations of public welfare have been started by launching the Shraddhanjali Yojana. In this, if any member of a family passes away, then administration takes responsibility of giving benefits of government schemes immediately at their homes through WhatsApp and e-mail without the family having to apply for them. Apart from death certificate on the same day, benefits of Sambal Yojana and appropriate pension are being given without application. The work of distribution of equipment is also being done by setting up camps for the Divyangjan.
In Dhar district, the work of promotion of agriculture by spraying drone-based nano urea is going on. In Umaria district, community-based care campaign for severely malnourished children, CCSAM i.e. Community Care for SAM Child, is underway.
In Barwani, under Mission Bal Shakti, a campaign to distribute laddoos made of dry fruits and pure ghee to malnourished children for their nutritional rehabilitation is being run with public cooperation. Blood tests of daughters and sisters are being done in anaemia free campaign, they are being given necessary counselling and iron folic acid tablets are being distributed.
Chouhan said that in Dindori, stalls of millet products are being set up, promotion of organic farming, preparing children of schools and hostels for examinations and public welfare camps are being organised to identify eligible beneficiaries before the arrival of the Vikas Yatra. Kotwar, Anganwadi workers and cooks who have done good work in Dindori are also being honoured. Sahara Abhiyan is going on in Narmadapuram, in which hearing aids, lenses and equipment are being distributed to the Divyangjan. The process of planting 10 trees in each village is going on under the Vikas Vriksha Abhiyan in the district. Cyber Sakhi is trying to bring cyber awareness in Harda district. Similarly, activities are going on under sickle cell anaemia eradication campaign in Khargone.
