US Air Force chief General David L. Goldfin flew to Tejas on Saturday in Jodhpur airbase, India’s fighter aircraft. This is the first time that the head of the foreign air force is flying from indigenous Tejas. Light Combat Aircraft (i.e. Tejas) has been made by Hindutan Aeronautics Limited in the country which has been included in the Indian Air Force.
The most special thing is that the US Air Force chief’s flying on Tejas will be a matter of encouraging morale for those engaged in the construction of this aircraft. Earlier, in November last year, Singapore’s Defense Minister flew to Tejas on the Klaikonda Airbase.
General Goldfin came on a trip to India on Thursday. Shortly after arriving in India, he wrote on his Facebook account that the two countries have good relations already. I will try to strengthen it even more.
He also discussed the use of Indian Air Force’s C-17 Globemaster Transport Aircraft on Facebook. General Goldfin said that India operates the world’s second largest aircraft, which has helped the need of military activities in its area.
