The railroads have made a coordinated single-window online system for consents for film shootings on its premises and to make them more smoothed out and productive.
“Indian railroads share a long relationship with Indian film. It has consistently loaned backing to Indian film for shootings… We invite producers to apply online for recording… also, trust the railroads will keep on being highlighted… in screenplays,” said Railway Board director and CEO Suneet Sharma.
Producers prior expected to look for authorization from 17 zonal boss advertising officials and the Railway Board by submitting applications. Presently with the setting up of the Film Facilitation Office, applications can be submitted through a web-based interface. The entrance can be utilized for authorizations for shooting highlight movies and TV/web shows.
Makers should apply disconnected for shooting narratives, music recordings, and plugs, the railroads said in an official statement.
“The thought is to make an incentive for producers by facilitating shooting across different purviews like the rail routes, which offer extraordinary, unmistakable areas that improve the recording account,” said data and broadcasting secretary Apurva Chandra. “The rail routes have likewise been a significant piece of India’s artistic history and producers should use this recently made environment to mesh India’s rambling and beautiful railroad network into their account.”
