Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Gurukul tradition has been the basis of our country’s education. Teachers were revered and will always be revered.

India wants to re-establish the Gurukul tradition and position itself as a world leader.

The Gurukul tradition has been maintained throughout history from Chanakya to Vikramaditya.

Chief Minister was addressing the Shiksha Bhushan Akhil Bharatiya Shikshak Samman ceremony at Rabindra Bhawan Auditorium on Sunday organized by Madhya Pradesh Shikshak Sangh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp along with Saraswati Vandana.

Special importance of Guru in Gurukul tradition

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shaikshik Foundation and Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh have been an intergral part in organizing the Shikshak Samaroha in the interest of nation, education and teachers.

He said that a Guru has great importance in Gurukul tradition.

Whenever any question arose in history, the role of Guru came to the fore. If Guru Vashishtha had not taken Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman to exile then the character of lord Ram in Ramayana would have remained incomplete.

The bright character of Guru Sandipani in the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna has been an example for the disciples and a source of inspiration in challenges.

Education is neither a slave of power nor a slave of law

All India Executive Member Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Shri Suresh Soni said that real development is possible only when our environment and life values ​​develop.

Quoting Kaka Kalelkar’s address given at Gujarat Vidyapeeth in 1928, he said that education is neither the slave of power nor the slave of law.

It is neither the friend of science nor bane of economics that is the antidote of art, education is the return of dharma, and it is the owner of a human’s heart, mind, and senses.

Anthropology and sociology are its two stages, logic and observation are the two eyes of education, science is the brain, history is the ear and religion is the heart of education.

Soni said that Kaka Kalelkar had said in his address that enthusiasm and enterprise are the lungs of education.

Education is Jagat Janani Jagadamba, the devotee of whom will never need anyone, all his wishes will be fulfilled.

Environment of education is a must in the country as per Kaka Kalelkar’s ideology

Soni said that by collectively thinking for value-based education – India-centric education, social respect of teachers, and education with an emphasis on values, efforts should be made to create an environment of education in the country as per the ideology of Kaka Kalelkar.

With this, India will be established as a major leader on the world stage by 2047.
