Following the passionate footsteps of wife Deepika Padukone, who three years ago launched her own fashion company ‘All About You’, Ranveer Singh on Friday launched his passion project ‘IncInk’, an independent music record label.
Bollywood powerhouse Ranveer Singh, who recently won a million hearts worldwide with his acting and rapping skills in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’, has now become a global entrepreneur by launching an independent music record label ‘IncInk’.
Apart from being one of the most grossing actors, Ranveer is a connoisseur when it comes to music. The day on the launch of his record label, he tweeted, “My passion project. A manifestation of a certain vibe. #IncInk is an independent record label formed by artists for artists…to discover, nurture & promote exciting talents from across India.”
He also tweeted, “Presenting #KaamBhari, #Spitfire – @ntnmshra & #SlowCheeta from the different hoods of our country. Let’s show these boys some love,”
The highlight of the day, however, remains when he shared the logo of his passion project, this is what he captioned it as, “Inclusive. Independent. This is the soul of #IncInk – my passion project.@incinkrecords.”
According to Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Ranveer has launched the record label with filmmaker-musician Navzar Eranee.
Mr. Adarsh tweeted, “BIGGG NEWS… Ranveer Singh turns global entrepreneur… Launches independent record label – IncInk – with music evangelist Navzar Eranee to discover, nurture and promote new talent. #IncInk.”
With the new label, Ranveer aims to promote raw talent and give them a platform to showcase their skills.
The first three talents being launched via the label are Kaam Bhaari (who has sung Zeher), SlowCheeta and Spitfire.
Reportedly, ‘IncInk’ will launch its first single titled ‘Zeher’ and its and music video today.
On the passion front, Ranveer’s newly wedded wife Deepika Padukone is also occupied with her entrepreneurial project ‘All About You’, a popular apparel company for women. Only five months ago, Deepika’s fashion company celebrated its anniversary as it turned three-years-old.
On the work front, Ranveer is occupied acting for Kabir Khan directorial ’83’ as the former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev in the sports drama. The movie will be released in April 2020.
Whereas Deepika is busy enacting Laxmi Agarwal, a real life survivor of acid attack as Malti in the film ‘Chhapaak’ that will be released in January 2020.
