Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while terming the people of Madhya Pradesh as his ‘family’, said that he runs a family, not a government, and that he is the brother of his Ladli Bahnas. Perturbed by the pain and suffering of his sisters, he initiated the Ladli Bahna Yojana for their economic empowerment and in honour of 1.25 crore women, Rs 1000 per month was sent to their accounts.
Chief Minister Chouhan in Garha, Jabalpur said that from the month of October, Rs 1250 will be sent and gradually the amount will be increased to Rs 3000. The sisters whose names were left out will also be added.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the beneficiaries of Ladli Bahna Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana will be given domestic gas cylinders for Rs 450, this amount will soon be credited to their accounts. He also said that an amount of Rs 4500 is being deposited in the accounts of class 6th and 9th students for bicycles. Similarly, the amount of laptop has been provided to the students who have scored more than 75 percent marks. Now medical and engineering education for students will also be in Hindi so that poor children can also study. The facility of 5 percent reservation has been provided to the children of government schools for admission in medical colleges through NEET. Many schemes including laptops, Teerth darshan, bicycle distribution have been restarted.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that while on the one hand development works were undertaken in the state, schemes were implemented in the interest of the public on the other hand.
Chief Minister Chouhan initially visited the Hanumanji temple near Gautam Madhiya and offered prayers and prayed for the welfare of the state.
