Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Hawk Force and police personnel neutralized the Naxalites in difficult and adverse circumstances and destroyed their network. In the year 2022, our jawans have been successful in killing 6 Naxalites carrying prize money of Rs one crore 18 lakh. Today I have come to Balaghat to honour the gallantry of such brave soldiers. For the honour of my valiant jawans, I will sacrifice my busy schedule, but I will not allow any shortfall in the honour of the jawans. The Chief Minister said that if bravery is not respected, it will become barren. The State Government is honouring and saluting our brave jawans who have risked their lives for the eradication of Naxalism by giving them out-of-turn promotions. We salute the spirit of the police and security forces personnel. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan today honoured 55 jawans in Police Line Balaghat by giving them out-of-turn promotions.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that today is a wonderful opportunity to give out-of-turn promotions to police personnel. Our villages and cities are safe because of the hard work of these jawans in adverse conditions. When we are celebrating Teej festival with our families in our homes, then our jawans are engaged in our security by risking their lives in dense forests and mountains. He told the police and Hawk force jawans that whenever they go to the forest for the anti-Naxal campaign, they should not consider themselves alone, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the Madhya Pradesh government are also with them. The Chief Minister said that the year 2022 has been the year to destroy the network of Naxalites. For the first time in the history of the state, success has been achieved in killing 06 dreaded Naxalites in a year. This success has not come easily. Our jawans have achieved this success after a hard struggle in adverse circumstances by putting their lives in danger in very unsafe situations. In the encounter with Naxalites, apart from killing the prize Naxalites, weapons, Naxalite literature and explosive materials have also been recovered.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that our fight is against such anti-national organisation, whose members do not follow the constitution and attack secretly. Earlier there was terror of dacoits in the northern areas of the state. Our government has eliminated the dacoits from the state with strong will power. SIMI’s network has been destroyed. We will not tolerate any kind of terror in the state. He said that apart from giving incentive allowance to the jawans involved in the Naxal eradication campaign, promotions are being given ahead of schedule. Due to this encouragement of the state government, the government is succeeding in eliminating the Naxalites. The biggest role in this is played by the mothers and sisters of the families of our police and security forces personnel. It is with their fortitude that our jawans carry out their duties with responsibility. For this, 8 and half crore people of the state are grateful to you.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Government of Madhya Pradesh stands with the jawans who maintain peace and law and order in the state. We will not let them face any kind of hardship. Our government is also paying attention to the education and treatment of illness of the children of jawans. CM Shri Chouhan said that police and security forces personnel have made Madhya Pradesh an island of peace. We are in favour of peace and do not want bloodshed. Pointing to the Naxalites, he said that our doors are always open for those who talk of peace. Walk in step with us for progress and development. Nothing will be achieved by violence.
Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena said that today is a historic day for Madhya Pradesh Police. Simultaneously, 55 jawans are being promoted out of turn. Never before have such a large number of promotions been given at once. These 55 jawans, who showed their bravery in the Naxalite encounter, have been promoted after completing all the formalities quickly. He said that for the first time in the history of 32 years, 6 Naxalites have been killed in a single year.
Superintendent of Police Shri Sameer Saurabh said that on November 30, 2022, in an encounter with Naxalites in Garhi police station area of Balaghat district, Hawk Force jawans had killed 2 prize Naxalites. Similarly, on December 18, 2022, in an encounter in the forest of Harratola under Pathri outpost, security force personnel had killed 1 prize Naxal. Out of turn promotion is being given to all the 55 jawans involved in these two encounters.
Chief Minister Chouhan awarded promotions to assistant sub-inspectors Mahendra Singh Gaur and Mangroo Uike to the post of sub inspector, head constables Sarvshri Atul Kumar Shukla, Manoj Kapse, Lokendra Singh Jadaun, Anoop Singh Bhadauria, Ramsuresh Kol, Anoop Singh Dhurve, Arun Mishra, Ramlakhan Prajapati and Dilip Uike promoted as assistant sub-inspectors and constables Sarvshri Shivkumar Parte, Durgesh Yadav, Chandan Kumar, Aziz Ali, Anoop Singh, Ravindra Kumar, Akhilekh Choudhary, Dilip Singh Kanesh, Vinod Belvanshi, Brajmohan Gurjar, Tiran Singh Navreti, Munendra Singh Bhadauria, Chainsingh Varkade, Roshan Parte, Abhishek Rajoria and Chandresh Jadaun have been appointed to the post of head constables, who were involved in the force who killed two dreaded Naxalites carrying reward of Rs. 49 lakh in a police Naxal encounter in Jamshera Forest Outpost under Garhi police station area on November 30, 2022.
Similarly, sub-inspectors Ashish Sharma and Vinay Goswami, were promoted as inspectors, assistant sub-inspector Mohanlal Maravi promoted to the post of sub-inspector, head constables Sarvshri Hanumant Tekam, Buddhaman Dhurve, Govind Singh, Sumeri Maravi, Kashiram Uike and Rajesh Dhurve to the post of assistant sub-inspector, constables Shri Surat Singh Urveti, Chandan Tembhare, Shreyas Kumar Uike, Laxmichand Kadpeti, Bhupendra Parte, Amarsingh Harpal, Vijay Uike, Rajesh Patta, Umesh Patel, Sandeep Idpache, Brijesh Chicham, Vimlesh Kumar Dubey, Parmesh Idpache, Govind Sallam, Shivraj Parte, Mithlesh Maravi, Anwar Ansari and Narendra Dhurve as head constables and constable driver Shri Yogesh Armo has been promoted to the post of head constable driver, who were involved in the force who killed one Naxalite carrying reward of Rs 14 lakh in an the encounter in Harratola forest under Malajkhand police station area on December 18, 2022,.
Chairman MP Backward Classes Welfare Commission and MLA Gaurishankar Bisen, Chairman MP Mineral Development Corporation Pradeep Jaiswal along with Additional Director General of Police Adarsh Katiyar, Inspector General of Police of Balaghat Zone Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Inspector General Anurag Sharma, Collector Dr. Girish Kumar Mishra and other officers were present. Chief Minister Chouhan and the guests felicitated the jawans who got out-of-turn promotions in the programme, and met the families of the jawans and discussed about the education of their children.
