During the Vikas Parv, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held Jan Darshan at village Bankhedi in Narmadapuram today. During this, the citizens warmly welcomed and honoured him. Somewhere from the roofs of the houses, from the porches, somewhere flowers were showered from the stage and somewhere with a shawl and shrifal, Chief Minister Chouhan was accorded warm welcome. The Ladli Bahnas welcomed Chief Minister Chouhan by performing aarti and presented Rakhi to their brother and garlanded him with flowers.
Chief Minister Chouhan reached the venue of the programme while holding Jan Darshan from Bankhedi Tiraha to Masjid Chauraha Marg. The whole city was decorated with welcome gates and colorful balloons on the route.
Platforms were built at many places on the route. Where the Chief Minister was felicitated with enthusiasm by the representatives of Gram Panchayats, Janpad Panchayats and District Panchayats. During this, along with a large number of women from rural areas, farmers and youths also participated. Workers of various organisations participated in the Jan Darshan. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister by writing on placards the names of various welfare schemes being run in public interest.
Atmosphere of enthusiasm at every step
On the arrival of Chief Minister Chouhan at Bankhedi, there was an atmosphere of enthusiasm at every step in the city. Children, youth, women as well as elders were not left behind. Welcome gates were erected at many places. Vikas Parv was celebrated by blowing rose petals and gulal.
Chief Minister Chouhan was welcomed by Panchayat representatives, members of farmers organizations, Agricultural Credit Co-operative Societies, Health Department, Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Municipality Employees Association, business class, various societies, social organisations, women organisations, including Ladli Bahna Sena. Member of Parliament Rao Udaypratap Singh, Pipariya MLA Thakur Das Nagvanshi, Sohagpur MLA Vijaypal Singh, Darshan Singh Chaudhary, Madhavdas Agarwal and other people’s representatives and a huge crowd participated in the Jan Darshan.
