New Delhi: After the news of sexual harassment of children in schools, often on TV, Parents are even more concerned for the safety of their children. The way in which these crimes have increased in the past, it is imperative for any parent to be worried. Given this concern of the parents, the central government has prepared a safety manual of 164 points. Through this manual any parent will be able to know if their children are completely safe in school or not.

On the instructions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, the National Child Rights Protection Commission has prepared a manual by linking schools and children to various guidelines. In this manual, a check list of 164 points has been made keeping in mind the needs of children studying in schools. Based on this list, parents will be able to find out about the security arrangements in their child’s school.
Giving information about the central government’s project, the NCPCR member (Education and RTE) Priyanka Kanugo said that parents can conduct security audits in schools on the basis of this security manual. During the audit, if parents find a lack of safety in the school, they can file their complaints in the education department. Kanaugo said, “After the formation of this list, schools need to follow all the guidelines related to the protection of children.
Find out the child’s safety
To find it out, if your child is safe in school or not, parents will get the information related to it at NCPCR’s website (ncpcr.gov.in). Kanungo said that in the list prepared in a year, the school building will be given according to the rules, all the necessary security certificates, building and campus will not have any burner or poisonous goods. Simultaneously, the school will have all the information about whether there is a clerame, toilet, canteen, school entry, library, playground, on the basis of Divya’s access to the school.
Driver’s licence must be valid
In the last few years, there have been many rules for this list of questioning on proper training of cab drivers. While issuing strict instructions to the cab drivers, it has been said that every school has a trained and licensed driver.
