Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a special campaign will be conducted from the month of January in the New Year and land will be given to the homeless poor people to live in. The yagya to make houses for the poor on the land freed from land mafia and bullies is starting from Bhopal Neelbad.
CM Chouhan said that those who do not have a plot of land to live in the village, will be provided free lease for residential house on the basis of applications received in the campaign being started from January 4, 2023. The vacant land will be allotted to the poor under the Mukhya Mantri Awasiya BhuAdhikar Yojana. Huzur area will also be benefitted by this. A scheme will be started to construct and provide pucca houses to those in the urban area where they are living and to the old occupants.
Chief Minister Chouhan was performing bhoomi-pujan of development works costing Rs. 215 crore at Neelbad Tiraha today. As soon as Chief Minister Chouhan reached Neelbad Tiraha, he went to Maa Singh Vahini Darbar and paid obeisance. MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Chairman Kishan Suryavanshi, Bhopal District Panchayat President Ramkunwar Gurjar, public representatives, social workers and a large number of citizens were present.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that today is a historic day for Neelbad. Houses for the poor will now be built on the government land freed from those people who used to encroach upon government land, indulge in bullying and hooliganism. These people had occupied thousands of acres of land, not one or two acres. Unfortunately, the people of the previous government used to encourage them.
23 thousand acres of land freed from goons and anti-social elements
Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated the Bhopal district administration for freeing 40 acres of land from hooligans and anti-social elements in Neelbad area of Huzur Assembly area. He said that so far 23 thousand acres of government land has been freed from goons and land mafia in the state. This campaign will go on continuously. CM Chouhan said that the land encroached by anti-social elements will also be freed. Police officers are instructed to crush such anti-social elements. The CM said that after legalizing the illegal colonies, basic facilities like electricity and water would be provided. There will never be any shortage of funds in the coffers of the state government for public welfare works.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Mukhya Mantri Jan-Seva Abhiyan, camps were organised in every village and ward of Bhopal. The new beneficiaries who have come up in Bhopal district will be benefited through 38 schemes like ration, cooking gas connection, Ayushman card. Soon they will start getting the benefits of the schemes. The government of Madhya Pradesh is a government that does welfare of the poor.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that under Jal Jeevan Mission, 76 villages of Huzur area will get benefit of drinking water scheme. Daughters and sisters who used to go to the hand pump throughout the day to fill water, this is a gift for them. Now water will be delivered to the houses by laying pipelines. Those who violate the dignity of daughters in the state will not be spared. CM Chouhan said that arrangements are being made for higher education fees for the students of poor and middle class. Initiative has been taken to conduct many courses in Hindi to promote Hindi.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that development works will be done at a rapid pace in tribal-dominated villages of Huzur area and Tantya Mama’s statue will also be installed. CM Shri Chouhan also called upon the common people to participate in the revolution for public welfare in the state. He hailed the active role being played by Huzur MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma for the development of the area.
MLA Rameshwar Mishra informed about the development works being done in Huzur area. He told that the work of building houses for the poor in the area would be done on priority. The common man will get benefit from the construction of six lane road. Chief Minister Chouhan is polite and generous to the general public. At the same time, he is harsher than thunderbolt for anti-social elements. Drinking water will reach every house in Huzur area through pipelines. He informed that soon there will be a huge convention for the youth of the area, in which Chief Minister Chouhan will also participate. Sharma said that the state government has given priority to the welfare of every section of the society. The Mayor of Bhopal Malti Rai proposed vote of thanks. Bhoomi Pujan of development works done in Huzur area
Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhoomi-pujan of projects costing Rs. 215 crore for Huzur area. These works include Kerwa rural drinking water project of Rs. 91 crore, Pradhan Mantri Awas of Rs. 60 crore, construction of 4 lane road from Neelbad to Badjhiri for Rs. 40 crore and other roads of 24 crore. Under the Jal-Jeevan Mission, the Kerwa Rural Drinking Water Project aims to provide tap water to every household in 76 villages of Huzur. Under the scheme, an initiative has been taken to provide pure drinking water to about one lakh people living in rural areas bordering Bhopal Municipal Corporation. Under the plan, a water purification plant of 942 lakh liters per day capacity will be constructed near the Kerwa Dam. Clean drinking water will be made available to the people from a total of 14 high level tanks. Apart from this, a 4-lane road from Neelbad to Badjhiri will also be constructed in this area at a cost of Rs. 40 crore.
Chief Minister Chouhan made this day historic by performing bhoomi-pujan for the housing of the poor in Neelbad area. Under Pradhan Mantri Shahri Awas Yojana, houses will be constructed by Bhopal Municipal Corporation for the poor and homeless people at a cost of about Rs. 60 crore. 40 acres of land in village Kalkheda Tehsil Huzur was freed from the encroachment of land mafia by the district administration. The market value of this land is around Rs. 100 crore. Action was also taken against the land mafia Israr Khan, Pratap Rajvansh, Shyam Sironia by registering cases under various sections in police station Ratibad district Bhopal and sending them to jail. All of them remained in jail for 5 months.
Initially, Chief Minister Chouhan was warmly welcomed at Neelbad intersection. CM Chouhan was welcomed with huge flower garland by the residents of the villages, where the drinking water scheme would come up.
