Various investors met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Mantralaya today and informed him about the investment proposals.
Chouhan assured the investors of full cooperation from the state government.
Founder Chairman of M/s Varun Beverages Limited RK Jaipuria informed Chief Minister Chouhan that the institute is preparing to set up a carbonated soft drink and fruit juice manufacturing unit at Umaria Dungariya in Jabalpur district with an investment of Rs 210 crore. This will provide employment to about 350 persons.
Chouhan said that full assistance would be given to set up this unit. Jaipuria also informed about the intention of the Industrial Institute to cooperate in the social sector.
Chouhan was informed by Siddharth Jain and Anil Khamsera, Director of Inox Air Pvt Ltd. that the work of construction of an oxygen plant in the Makhannagar-Muhasa-Babai industrial area of Narmadapuram district is almost complete.
He invited Chouhan to inaugurate the plant.
Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is self-sufficient in many areas. During the Corona period, we had to depend on other states for the arrangement of oxygen.
Such a calamity should not recur, but the plant is necessary.
The institute will also get cooperation related to the operation of the plant from the government.
Siddharth Jain informed Chief Minister Chouhan that an initiative has been taken to set up a pure cryogenic medical oxygen plant for Rs 125 crores. Commercial production will start next month.
S. Seshadri and Dhiren Malani of M/s Best Lifestyle Apparel Pvt. Ltd. also called on Chief Minister Chouhan on Monday.
They informed that a hosiery garments manufacturing unit has been set up by the institute in Nagjhiri village of Ujjain district with an investment of Rs 80 crore, which will employ about 4,000 people, especially women.
Chouhan was requested by the institute for the launch of the unit on coming April 6.
Chouhan congratulated the office bearers of the institute for completing the process quickly and setting up the unit and assured them of the necessary cooperation. It was informed by the institute that a new investment is also proposed in Pradhan Mantri Mitra Yojana.
Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Department Manish Singh and Secretary to Chief Minister Vivek Porwal were present.
