A judge of the Gwalior High Court has given unique instructions on the absence of lawyers in the hearing of the case. The judge has asked a lawyer to plant a peepal plant. The judge asked another lawyer to visit the shelter home. Both the lawyers did not appear during the hearing of their respective cases, which were later dismissed.
Lawyers will be able to hear rejected cases after following the order.
Both lawyers have welcomed the order of the judge. Senior advocate Shailendra Singh Kushwaha did not appear on December 4 for hearing of the case related to daily allowance of 35 workers. He said that Justice Anand Pathak has instructed him to plant a peepal tree within 10 days, after which the rejected case will be restored.
Kushwaha has said that this is a very good initiative of Justice Anand Pathak because if we fail to attend the court, then this will give us an opportunity to do something for the environment. We are so busy in our everyday life that we can not find time for anything like planting or gardening. ‘
